Your data is your data.
Piccolo is built on the belief that privacy is a right, not a feature.
What We Collect
We collect only what’s necessary to make Piccolo work:
Your email address (if you join the waitlist or register)
Minimal metadata for software updates or remote access (if enabled)
Anonymous diagnostics (optional and opt-in only)
We do not collect:
The contents of your files
Any usage history
Location, contacts, photos, or other personal data from your devices
Where Your Data Lives
Your files live on your Piccolo device — not our servers.
If you enable global access, we may route encrypted traffic through secure relay servers. We do not inspect
or
log it.
Encrypted backups (if enabled) are stored in a distributed fashion or on trusted partners, never in plain
text.
Who Has Access
Only you have access to your files, unless:
You explicitly choose to share them.
You choose to opt in to remote support.
We do not and will not sell, rent, trade, or share your data. Ever.
Your Rights
You can request deletion of any data we hold.
You can opt out of analytics or diagnostics.
You can export or erase your account at any time.
Our Commitment
We believe in zero-knowledge architecture, local-first storage, and encryption by default.
We’ll always design Piccolo to give you control, not take it away.
