Welcome to Piccolo. We make powerful, privacy-first personal servers that let you control your digital life. These terms are simple and designed to protect both you and us.
1. What You Own
You own your Piccolo device. You own your data. Period.
2. What We Provide
We provide:
- Hardware (the Piccolo server)
- Companion software (mobile app + firmware)
- Optional services (like remote access, diagnostics, or feature upgrades)
We may update the software from time to time to fix bugs, improve performance, or add features.
3. Our Promise
- We will never sell your data.
- We will never show you ads.
- We will never share your information without your consent.
- We will always be transparent about how your data is handled.
4. Your Responsibility
You agree to:
- Use Piccolo legally and responsibly.
- Not use it to host or distribute illegal or harmful content.
- Secure your device with a strong password and follow reasonable safety practices.
5. Warranty & Returns
We offer a 3-year limited hardware warranty against manufacturing defects. If your device is defective, we’ll replace it or refund you.
Piccolo is designed to keep your data safe — with cloud-grade redundancy and no single point of failure. But as with any system, no solution is immune to disasters. We strongly recommend backing up irreplaceable data, just as you would with any device you own.
6. Our Liability
Piccolo is a tool. How you use it is up to you.
We’re not liable for indirect damages (like lost data or missed deadlines) that result from misuse, hardware failure, or acts of nature.
We’ll always do our best to support you and fix what we can.
7. Termination
You can stop using Piccolo any time. You can delete your account and data anytime (if using any cloud-linked services we offer).
If you violate these terms, we may suspend access to our services — but your local device will keep running.
8. Updates
If we change these terms, we’ll notify you clearly. No sneaky changes. No dark patterns.
